Welcome to my new website and my new town of Celebration Bay.

Celebration Bay is a wonderful place, even if it isn’t quite real, on the New York side of Lake Champlain.  When the cannery closed, throwing the whole town out of work, the residents didn’t despair; they threw a party.  The whole county came and a new industry was born—Tourism. Now every day’s a holiday in Celebration Bay! And where there’s this much fun, can murder be far away?

You’ll get to know my new favorite characters.

Liv Montgomery, a harried, New York City event planner, thinks the job of event organizer in a small, rural town sounds like a little slice of heaven.  Didn’t her mamma tell her that things that seem too good to be true, probably are?

Liv’s faithful best friend, Whiskey—No, no, it’s not what you’re thinking—Whiskey is her rescued Westie Terrier with a nose for yummy treats baked especially for him by the owner of the Apple of My Eye Bakery, Dollie Hunnicutt. And if he happens to sniff out a murder . . .

Liv’s assistant Ted Driscoll is a man of a certain age. So what’s the big deal about a mysterious past when he’s the go-to-man for town gossip.

Which isn’t the case with local newspaper editor, Chaz Bristow, who, if you ask Liv, is the laziest, least helpful, most handsome man in town.  Not that his good looks will turn Liv’s head.

Unlike Liv’s arch rival, Janine Tudor, who will never forgive Liv for taking her job, and who has her own designs on the less-than-energetic newspaper editor.

So join us for a little fun, mayhem, and murder and don’t leave without trying a piece of Dollie’s famous Apple Crisp!
